New tooth! (and a very busy weekend)

Look, I have a new tooth coming in! (See the bump in my upper gum? It's through!) I like to make Mommy cringe by grinding my teeth together.

This weekend was very busy, because we had visitors, Anna and Mark. I liked them! I'm sorry I was so grouchy on Sunday...stupid cold. I'm feeling a lot better today -- see, I'm all grins!

Tromp tromp!

This evening's activity was stomping on stuff! Daddy walked me around and I stepped on all kinds of things, like blocks and balls and such. It feels funny!

I am also a big camera hog!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today for Daddy's birthday, I learned a new trick: how to give a kiss! I'm still working on it, but Daddy doesn't mind much....

Baby bookworm

I discovered recently that books are good for something besides just chewing on! Now I like to look at my books all the time, even when I'm getting my diaper changed.

Leaves!

Last week when we went to Weather'd Wood to visit Great-granddaddy, I discovered my new favoritest thing: fall leaves! They are nifty to walk on, sit in, flap, twirl, and crunch. Great-uncle Tom helped me make a big pile. It rained over the weekend, so I haven't been able to play in the leaves since then, but maybe since today is sunny, I'll get to!

An outing to the PMA

Today we went with Barbara to the new Perelman Center of the PMA -- I had such a fun time! There was all kinds of interesting stuff to look at, and I was also very busy charming the socks off everyone. The galleries there have all these great wood floors and wide open spaces -- I could really get up some speed! This is my favorite sculpture, because it's so big and colorful!

Fly Eagles Fly!

Mommy got me a new shirt to help me cheer for our football team, the Philadelphia Eagles. I don't know what a Philadelphia is, or an Eagle, but that's OK, because I like to watch football with Mommy and Daddy. I even flap my arms, but I'm not too good at chanting E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! because I can't spell yet. I wore the shirt during the game today, and guess what? It worked! The Eagles won! I was very proud of helping them out. I hope they come over to thank me later.

Baby's new ride

Look at my new toy! It's pretty cool! It rolls around, which confuses me a little, but it has fun doo-dads on it to play with. Mommy makes it magically turn into a different shape so I can stand and walk, but I haven't really figured out how that works yet.

Vacation at Peach Glen

Me and Mommy and Daddy and Nellie spent a week at Peach Glen. Mommy and Daddy said it was "vacation," when they get to relax -- but that's okay, because I didn't let them relax too much! Or let Mommy get too much sleep. That's my job.

I had a very busy week. I hung with my dog-buddy pack...

...here's me and Trout, eating Cheerios...

I met my great-grandmom (she wears sparkly things!)...

...watched Grammy dig in the dirt (someday I'll get to do that too!)...

... spent a lot of time looking outside and banging on the door (since it was hot, usually I banged on the screen, but no one ever let me do that for very long! humph)...

...and practiced standing all by myself!

And last but not least, Mommy and Grammy worked on my very first Halloween costume! Guess what I'm going to be be!!

Thanks, Grammy and Granddad, for a great week! We had so much fun. I haven't eaten any applesauce yet, but it's on the stove right now -- yum yum!

Hangin'

Just hangin' out with my dog....

Chicken-chompin' champ

Grammy, Grammy, can we roast a chicken when we come visit? I like to eat chicken -- lots of chicken! -- when I eat it all by myself. Maybe all that chicken is why I slept so well last night....
