Even with a temp of 101...

... I'm still a silly girl!! Hiiiii!! It's very hot here, and I'm running a fever and have a drippy nose and my teeth still hurt -- but it's okay! Especially when Mommy takes me for a walk to get ice cream. Mmmmm.

Party animal

Sunday was a dance and dinner in our friends' garden. I ran around a lot and got dirty with all my friends -- Sam and Elena and Cathryn. Mommy tried to get pictures of me with our big friend Morgan and my little friend Cathryn, but I was much too busy to do something silly like SIT STILL!

Naked naked naked!

The other day when we visited Aunt Barbara and Uncle Steve, my clothes got all wet, so while they were in the dryer, I got to have REALLY naked time!!! It was wonderful. I wore my awesome silver sparkly shoes. They are so cool.

Queen of the playground

Even though it was kinda chilly and windy, we went to the playground yesterday. I like to climb!

Big slide

Here's the really big slide I like to go down! Wish I could go there today, but it's kinda yucky out.

My favorite place

Here I am in one of my favorite places: the big rocking chair, reading a book. I can get a book and climb up into the rocking chair all by myself!

I teach Daddy

Tonight I decided I needed to teach Daddy how to say BABY. He's a slow learner, so I had to show him how to sign it over and over again! I don't know why it made Mommy and Daddy laugh....

And now for my latest trick: taking off my clothes!! This morning, I managed to take off my PJs and almost had my diaper off before Mommy found me.

I can do it myself

I have finally figured out how to buckle a snap all by myself! Of course, I don't know how to unsnap it, so I have to ask for help. I can do it over and over and over again....

First bike!

A couple of weeks ago (when the camera wasn't working) Mommy and Daddy got me my first tricycle!! I am SO excited. I sign BIKE whenever I see it and I like to go for rides. Right now I my feet barely touch the pedals, but that's okay: Mommy and Daddy push and steer for me. I ding the bell!

Word brain

I am really busting out with saying words over the past few days. I have added "bath" and "pig" and "feet" and "shoe" (instead of "sheesh") and "sleep."

Visiting with Grammy!

Look, Aunt Megan, the camera works with Grammy's computer! (Can anyone tell Mommy what's wrong with our computer???) Here I am, snuggling with Grammy. I was very, very excited to come visit.

Big eater

This morning I ate almost my entire bowl of yogurt all by myself with a spoon! I just shoveled it in, once Mommy got me to hold the spoon right.

I have also finally learned to say no! Except that I make Mommy and Daddy laugh, because I say, "Nnnnyap!"

Big day

The camera still isn't cooperating, but I think I should blog anyway!

Yesterday Mommy took me to the playground, and since there wasn't a little kids slide, I went down the BIG slide. It was REALLY BIG! I was a little terrified every time I slid down, but I really liked it -- I had to run around to climb up all the steps to do it again!

My big concept these days is "pet." I can sign it and say it. Mommy and Daddy are always telling me to pet Nellie and George gently, so now I go around petting everything and practice saying "pat pat." I pick lots of dandelions when we go for walks and pet them too. I also like to kiss them! I like to kiss everything.

Also, Aunt Joanie, I am really a dainty lady now: I can eat an entire meal off a plate with my fork. I'm still working on the spoon, but I'm getting pretty good at it.
