Busy weekend

We had a fun, busy weekend. Yesterday we went to a barn dance: there was lots of good music and dancing and lots of space to run around. I danced with Daddy and kicked the ball and Daddy and I fell out of the hammock!

Today we went to my buddy Cathryn's birthday party, which was lots of fun because there were kids running around and shrieking (now I can shriek!) and bubbles and cake and stuff. There will be pictures later, because we have to wait for Cathryn's Daddy to send them to us....

Gosh, am I wore out.

Fun new toys!

Today I got two new toys: a little slide and wonderful red ball! And today it was a really nice day to play outside. I like to kick the ball, and then Mommy kicks it and makes me chase after it! Wheeee!

Ponytail girl

Mommy discovered a little while ago that my hair is long enough to put into a ponytail. Isn't it cute? Also, I am a very silly baby.

"Outside colors"

This afternoon was kinda hot, so I got to play outside with no clothes on (the best way to be). One of my favorite things to do is draw on the porch with my outside colors! I make a big mess, which is so much fun. I had color on my belly and my legs and my feet and my face....

Ice cream at Barbara and Steve's

Yesterday we went to visit Barbara and Steve, and they fed me ice cream! Mmmm, mango....

And then Steve played a very silly hand game with me. It made me giggle a lot.

This afternoon Mommy took me and Granddaddy to Twirly Top for ICE CREAM! Yummmmm. I like ice cream a lot. I got my very own chocolate ice cream. It was deeeee-yish-ish! (trans.: delicious)

There's a frog hiding under the pot! He is so cool. Grammy and Granddaddy tell me that I have to be quiet when I'm hunting frogs -- Ssssssssssh!
