My new favorite toy

Uncle Michael, look at my new favorite toy: a cool Matchbox CAR that Daddy gave me! I like to drive it around the table and sign CAR a lot. And I try to say, "Vroom, vroom," but it's hard.

Today's adventure

I had a fun adventure today. Mommy and I went to IKEA. We had lunch there, and I ate Swedish meatballs and french fries and drank some lingonberry juice! Then I went and played in the kids' area, and now I have a new favorite stuffed animal: a RRRRRAT! How cool is that?

Playing games with Tom

Yesterday our friends J and Tom came over to play. Tom taught me how to play video games! I don't know why he was mad when I kept beating him....

More happy snow!

It snowed some more, and Daddy didn't go to work, so we took a walk in the snow. I love the snow. It's all pretty and stompy. I like walking through fresh snow the best. I also fell down and got covered with snow a couple of times, but I don't mind! Nellie loves the snow too!

Please Touch Museum

Today I went to the Please Touch Museum with my friend Elena. It was SO COOL!!!!! It was so exciting that I skipped my morning nap completely and ran around the museum from 10 o'clock till 1:30! At first I just stood there and hung onto Daddy because there were billions and billions of kids, all running around. That was pretty neat to watch too, but eventually I got into it and started playing too.

My favorite place in the museum was the Farmer's Barnyard, where I picked cabbages and turnips (aren't you proud of me, Grammy?).


I drove the big blue tractor, vroom vroom!


I drove a real live SEPTA bus! It was a little hard to see over the steering wheel, but I didn't care. BIG BUS!


My next favorite place was the water thingy. There was water! And little boats! And I could splash in it all I wanted. Whee!


And then... after lunch... we went to the supermarket, where everything was just right for us little guys! I pushed a grocery cart around. Mommy and Daddy say I'm dangerous.

I also worked the cash register, 'cuz it had buttons to push. And there were these avocadoes that I couldn't eat... I tried, and they tasted awfully funny.

I want to go there again and again! And soon the museum will move to a bigger place -- more space to play.

Walk in the snow

Today it snowed a little, so Nellie and Mommy and I went for a walk. I tromped in my pink boots. I walked all the way to the school and back!

"Rrrrrrrrat!"

While I was at Peach Glen, Grammy helped me say my first real word: "Rrrrrrrat!" I like the "rrr" sound, and I liked Noel the rat!

Another fun visit with Grammy and Granddaddy at Peach Glen!!

I got lots and lots of hugs and smooches.


I wore myself out, walking walking walking! I walked around naked.


I took walks down the driveway.


I helped Granddaddy build shelves in the laundry. (Uncle Tim, this one's for you!)


I ate broccoli!


Always so much fun to visit all my buddies! We'll be back soon.

Vroom vroom

Mommy made me my very own car out of a box! I like cars a LOT.

Fun at Barbara's!

I always have fun at Barbara and Steve's house! This afternoon, I made a new big friend, Maria, and we all played with lots of fun toys. I showed everyone how I can sign and how I like to sit! This little stool is just right.

And then Barbara brought out the best toys ever: GIANT BALLS! Wow!! I was so excited about them I shrieked a lot. Mommy helped me to sit on one and bounce, whee!

My chair

Look, a rocking chair that's just my size! It's my new favorite place to sit (and stand on! backwards! I don't know why Mommy gets mad when I do that...). I climb on and rock, just like Mommy or Daddy and I do in the big rocking chair.
