Happy birthday, Uncle Michael!

I can't believe it's been a whole year! Happy birthday again, Uncle Michael. I'm really sorry that there aren't any pictures -- I've had some good adventures lately -- but Mommy says the camera or the computer is having problems, boo-hoo.

Snot baby

Sorry we haven't written in a while, everyone! I was having a great time out at Peach Glen...till I got smacked with a really, REALLY bad cold. I felt so HORRIBLE. I had a fever and couldn't breathe, and I was very, very cranky. I'm really sorry, Grammy and Granddaddy and Katie and Steve, that I was so cranky and didn't get to play with you a lot. But the fun I did have was great! I rode the tractor and took lots of walks and learned about frogs and finally learned what a chicken says -- BAK BAK!

I'm still a ball of icky green snot, but at least it's not leaking out of my eyes any more....

Transmogrify!

When I am not being a sheep, I am a python! MMMMM, cherries!!!

My first haircut

We're out at Peach Glen, and Grammy just gave me my very first haircut! Now I won't have hair in my eyes all the time.

Dance!

Yesterday Mommy and I went to GCD Community dance, and it was such fun! I learned to do a morris dance with hankies --

-- but then I got tired and had to lie down.

Then we went outside to dance, and there was a maypole!! All the pretty ribbons!

I helped wind the maypole with Mommy, but when it came time to unwind it, I got bored and decided to sit down and take off my shoes, the better to feel all the lovely green grass.

BAAA BAAA!!

Today we went to the Peter Wentz Farmstead, where I got to see a REAL LIVE SHEEP!!! BAAAA BAAAA!!! I was pretty excited. They said BAAA BAAA, too! I also got to see horses and cows, but that wasn't as exciting. I ran around a lot and talked to other babies and saw my buddy Morgan. And I think I was supposed to learn things, but I was too busy having fun.

Ice cream, ice cream!

Tonight we walked to get ice cream, because it was a nice evening. I got very excited about ICE CREAM; I amazed Mommy and Daddy by signing it when they asked if I wanted some (they don't know all the good stuff I know!). Both Mommy and Daddy got chocolate, and oh boy, did I like it! Daddy got sprinkles on his, so I ended up with ice cream all over my face and sprinkles in my hair -- and silly Mommy didn't have the camera handy. The ice cream was really COLD, but I kept asking for MORE, PLEASE! I hope to eat lots of ice cream this summer.

(**note: here's your cultural info for the day! In case you hadn't noticed, an ASL sign is conventionally denoted by putting it in all caps. So, yes, Joy really can sign "More, please!")

First Saturday dance

Last night was the First Saturday dance, and I had such a good time! I got to wear a really cute dress, and I ran around and played with lots of different people and danced a lot. I even waltzed with Sam and Sandy! And then it was time for tea. My pal Princess Ronnie shared with me. Yum, crackers and potato chips and grapes and brownies.

Pizza!

Last night Mommy made us some yummy pizza, and I ate almost a whole slice, just like a big girl. I didn't want the little pieces Mommy had cut up for me: I had to pick up and eat the rest of the slice, like Mommy and Daddy. After I picked off and ate up all the delicious red peppers.

Dancing queen

I am such a party animal at storytime! When Miss Michelle plays her guitar and sings, I love to dance with the other kids -- even if they're not big enough to stand up by themselves. I hold their hands, and they dance! It is so much fun.

Silly baby, boots are for feet!

Sorry, Aunt Megan, Mommy forgot to put up new pictures! Here I am, being my usual silly self.
