Joy the Uber Pathetic

I've been sick. I feel terrible, and I don't want to eat (me! not eating! not even Grammy's applesauce!!), and I'm not sleeping well, so I'm tired a lot. Today I felt a little bit better, but I was SOOOOO tired when Mommy and Daddy were eating dinner, that I actually fell asleep sitting up!! Mommy made me lie down. Aren't I pathetic? At least I get cat snuggles.

New hoodie towel!

Today Mommy bought me a new hoodie towel, one that's big enough to wrap me all up. And it's an ELEPHANT!! It's so cool! I love it a lot.

Playground time!

It's really really nice out here, so today Mommy and I went to the playground. I love to crawl through the tunnel. Mommy peeks in and says boo, and it makes me laugh a lot. Today there were two other big girls there, so I made new friends! They played in the tunnel with me and pushed me on the swing. Fun fun! Then at the library I got to talk to a couple of babies. And read books, of course.

In other news, I know almost all my letters and numbers, and I'm getting more teeth (owie).

Today on the catwalk...

Mommy and I went through my fall wardrobe, so I had to model my new duds. I thought it was pretty funny to put my hands in my pockets and check myself out in the mirror.

Just like Daddy

This morning I pretended I was Daddy. Makes it kinda hard to walk, though -- I don't know how he does it!

Zzzzz

Last night I stayed up late at a dance (whee!), and today I refused to nap, so by late this afternoon, I was soooo... very... tired.... I actually fell asleep sitting up, with my hand in my snack cup.....

Places we went in Atlanta

We did all kinds of stuff in Atlanta. I think the most funnest place we went was to the Georgia Aquarium! Fish!! Millions of fish! Right there in front of me!


I got to see a real live whale shark! I liked it so much that I got a stuffed one at the gift shop.


I also got to see real live penguins. So here I am with my new best pal, Chuckie the penguin! I like to pretend I'm eating him like a shark. Rar rar!


We went out to eat at Doc Chey's, of course. It was sunny, so I wore Nana Sue's sunglasses. And then I ate noodles. Mmmmm.


We also went to the Children's Museum. It's kind of like our Please Touch Museum, which means I got to run around and do silly things, like play with pretend flowers, drive a clown car, and play with toy trains.



After that we went to the big water fountain! Water would just magically shoot up out of the ground! I was a little unsure of it, but I loved to watch the water and all the kids running around.


Phew! The rest of the time I just spent running around terrorizing Nana Sue and Papa! Wheeeee!

A few things I did in Atlanta

Mommy's tired, so she's just going to let me post a few things I did around Nana Sue and Papa's house....

But first, here I am on the airplane! AIRPLANE!!!! Fly away!


Nana Sue and Papa had the coolest swimming pool for me: it had fish and octopus and crabs all over it! And I drank from the hose. I'm good at that.


More hosey activities: I helped Nana Sue water the plants. It was one of my jobs, every day.


My other job was feeding my new buddy Cleo the cat! I carried the bucket of food and everything. I did it in style, of course. (Sorry about the blurry picture, says Mommy. Maybe it's because I'm just too speedy.)


I am such a big helper, yup. I helped Nana Sue some more by pushing her wheelie cart around the house. Chuckie the Penguin and Whale Shark came along for the ride. Mommy, can I have one of these at home??


I had such a great time, Nana Sue and Papa! When can I come visit again? Maybe after you're all rested up from this last visit....

Emory princess

I'm a future Emeroid! Emory is where Daddy went to school, and I really, really like this sweatshirt. Mommy and Daddy tried it on me in the store, and I liked it so much that I refused to take it off! Daddy had to put me on the counter so the nice young man could scan me....

FISH!!!

Yesterday afternoon we went to the Georgia Aquarium. There were FISH!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF FISH!! Swimming right in front of my nose! I got to see penguins! and sea otters! and sea lions! and sharks! and whale sharks! and crabs! and fish bigger than me! It was so amazing, I think my head exploded again.

WOW. We are visiting Nana Sue and Papa down in Atlanta, and it is so much fun! To get here, I got to ride on a blue bus to the airport and saw lots of big airplanes up close!! They go really really fast and then they fly -- and I got to ride on one!!! And when we got to Atlanta, we got to ride in a little train, and then we went to Nana Sue and Papa's house, and they have a little pond with fish, and a cat named Cleo and a house to run around in and a kiddie pool to swim in, and WOW. Than yesterday we rode in the car and we went to a little airport. I got to SWING AND WATCH AIRPLANES UP CLOSE.

I think my head is going to explode.
