Party time!

This morning Mommy AND Daddy came to school with me, and we sang Christmas songs for them! Here I am, singing! Yaaaaay!

Birthday at school!

Today I got to bring in a special treat to share with everyone at school for my BIRTHDAY! Mommy and I made gingerbread cake, yum. With whipped cream. Mmmm. Happy birthday to me!

Turkey Day adventures at Peach Glen!

We went to Peach Glen for Thanksgiving, and as usual, I had lots of adventures! Grammy and Granddaddy always help me with FUN. I love to play with Uncle Michael's train set, and so does Granddaddy.


Granddaddy also helped me drive -- wait for it -- a STEAMROLLER! How cool is that??


Me and Grammy, we love our chickens. My favorite favorite chicken is Ms Frizzle. We love her so much that we bring her into the house. But Frizzle is kinda dirty and smelly, so of course we had to give her a bath. With my strawberry shampoo. Bawk!


And then she was all cold and wet, so I blow-dried her. She liked it! She sat in Grammy's lap and clucked.


After that, she sat in my lap and.... well, you'll just have to wait and see!

Oh, and there was TURKEY. And PIE. Yum yum yum. I ate pumpkin pie and eggs for breakfast! Breakfast of champions!!

I am... Play-Doh Girl!

I love to play with Play-Doh. It is so much fun. I make lots of beasties and dudes and cake and ice cream and cupcakes and.... well, I can play with Play-Doh for HOURS!!

Busy busy

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while -- the big computer with all the pictures on it isn't working right now! But I have been a very busy girl. I love school and dance class and football! Pictures will come as soon as Mommy and Daddy fix the computer.

First day of school!!!

Today was my first day of school, and I am SO EXCITED!! There's a train table and a kitchen and lots of kids and I like my teachers. Today was too short!! Tomorrow I go for a little bit longer, and without Mom. Yaaaay, school!!!!

I also have a beautiful new dress from China. I like to wear it because it feels so slippery and smooth!

We got to open our package from Aunt Megan and Uncle Michael tonight, and it was SO COOL! I loved it! I've been wanting my very own fan, and I can't wait to taste all the yummy treats. The "Happy Cat" shirt is really cute!! Thank you!

I have been a busy girl out here at Peach Glen! I helped Granddaddy drive the tractor lots and lots...

Putt putt!

This weekend, Mommy and Daddy took me to play putt putt golf!! I loved it! At first Mommy and Daddy had to show me how to hit the ball, but by the end, I could do it all by myself. I was very good at hitting the ball gently. I want to do it again soon!

4th of July!! Fireworks!! Carnival!!

Whew! It's only Saturday, and we've had lots of adventure. Last night I got to stay up late and go watch the fireworks. I loooooove fireworks. Gold sparkles! Big red and green flowers!!

And this afternoon we went to the carnival, and I got to ride all the rides a million times, whee! My favorite favorite favorite buddy was the dragon rollercoaster.


I rode the dragon SIX times!! I even finally got to ride all the way up front, which was the best.

And then there was the bees,


and the twirly teacups (I could make myself spin!),


and the cars and motorcycles.


...and the train and the big bears and climby things and I would have ridden them all a zillion gagillion more times, except we ran out of time. Phew! But then we went to a restaurant for dinner, so that was okay.

My birthday party

So, yeah, last weekend I had a birthday party! It was SOOOO much fun. It was very hot, and we all ran around in our bathing suits and got wet.

But first, Mommy and I had to decorate my cake. It was chocolate with cherries, yuuummmm. And sprinkles, of course.


We had a pool and tubs of water and a hose and water balloons!


We also did a Christmas tree craft! Yay, stickers. I love stickers.


After a while, I got to open presents, yippee! I got a lots of fun stuff, like a construction vehicle puzzle and Chutes and Ladders. I love to play Chutes and Ladders.


And then, CAKE and ice cream! I did my best to blow out the candles. I didn't have any problem eating up lots of cake and ice cream. It was delicious.


AND there was bubble wrap! Isn't Sam a great jumper? I am too, but I was being a frog, of course.


And then we ate pizza and played some more, and boy, was I excited and tired and had a hard time going to bed!! Thanks, Mommy and Daddy, for throwing me a party!

Pickin' cherries

Last week when we were out at Peach Glen, we got to go pick cherries, yummmmmm. I was very messy, but gosh, did I have fun! I don't think any of the cherries I picked actually made it into the bucket....

I am having a birthday party* tomorrow!!! Yesterday Mommy and I (with J and Felicity's help) made chocolate cake. and Mommy let me lick the beater! YUM!!! I am so excited!

* half birthday, but Joy doesn't know the difference :-)

We visit Swafmore (again)

Yesterday Mommy and I had a little adventure and went down to this nice place that Mommy went to school at, Swarthmore. It was FUN! I met lots of Mommy's nice friends and their kids, like Patrick, who climbed a tree with me. And there was a moon bounce and slidey thing, and the giant chair! I liked the giant chair. But most of all, I liked hanging out in the cool place with my new bestest buddy, Erskin. Even if I can't remember his name. I talked about him the whole ride home, though!!

The other day was my school picnic. It was great, because I got to run around with a million other kids on a big playground, and then Daddy came, and we got to eat a picnic, and here I am hanging with my buddy Sabina and my really, really nice teacher Miss Lauren! I am sad that school's all done for the summer, but I'm already very excited about school next year!

Storytime with J & Felicity

The other day, my buddies Tom and J and Felicity came to visit, and I got to have storytime with J and Felicity! I'm paying attention, really! Heh heh.

Look what Gramma Kate made for me! Isn't it beautiful?? Too bad I have to wait till the fall to wear it. I love it!

Highland games!

Last weekend we went to the Fair Hill Highland games, and I had lots of fun, just like I always do. I hung with Crazy Ol' Jane, and played with all my buddies, like Felicity, yay. Also, I LOVED the massed bands! Lots and lots and lots of bagpipes!!! and drums!!! I want to play the big drums when I grow up. BOOM BOOM BOOM. Also, we watched the caber toss, which I liked a lot! I cheered for all the guys tossing that big old log.

What I want to be when I grow up....

Last week, I got to check out some big construction equipment!!! I LOVE this stuff. I want to drive a very big truck when I grow up. But for now, this was pretty good!

There was a backhoe,


and a bucket truck,


and everything was SO BIG.


And my favorite favorite favorite: the street sweeper! I love the street sweeper. I watch it go by on our street every Tuesday morning.
