Christmas!

I had no idea Christmas would be this wonderful! When I woke up, my Pack 'n' Play was full of presents! I was so excited, I tried to climb in to get them.

First I got to see what was in my stocking. That was pretty cool -- there were things hidden inside!

...including a chocolate Santa! Pretty, red, and shiny, yay.

I helped everyone open presents, including lots of my own!

Alex and Nick, I really liked my books. Ladybugs!

I'm really a big girl now: Nana Sue gave me my very own cell phone!

...and Granddaddy gave me my first hammer. Bang bang! I like to hit the dog with it.

Christmas was lots and lots of fun, and I hope it happens again soon.

See you soon, Uncle Michael!

Here I am in a box! Maybe I'm a Christmas present. I'm wearing my fun happy Christmas doggie duds (see, Line, they fit!) and cuddling my new bestest pal Snugglepuppy. And then Uncle Michael came to visit, and he read me a story. I can't wait to see him and Aunt Megan this weekend!

Christmas pictures are coming soon, Mommy promises.

Big party!

My cousin Nicole is really, really nice: she shared her big 16th birthday party with me! She has the same birthday as me! I got to dress up and wear a tiara.

Here's me and Nicole -- we opened lots of presents together.

My favorite present was a big teddy bear wearing an Eagles shirt! I love that bear!

Getting ready for Christmas

Nana Sue and Papa are here to visit! I like having them here. Nana Sue gave me a little stuffed doggie -- he's my favoritest thing ever now! I like to hug him and kiss him and go to sleep with him.

Today, Daddy and Papa brought a TREE into the house! First they put it on the car, which was confusing. And now it's in the house! It's really neat, especially since Daddy put LIGHTS on it. I like lights a lot.

I helped unpack the decorations and put one on the tree!

P.S.

Also, Mommy and Daddy discovered yesterday that I've busted through TWO new top teeth! Maybe that's why I was drooling so much....

My First Birthday!!!

Today I turned ONE! I'm not sure what that means, but I got presents and cake, so it must be a pretty good thing.

I like opening presents!

My nifty new noisy thing from Nana Sue and Papa:

Mommy made my favorite food for dinner: macaroni and cheese! And peas. Yum. And Mommy baked a scrumptious gingerbread cake for me. I think the best part was the whipped cream on top....

One year checkup and other things

Yesterday was my one year checkup, and I'm doing great! I weighed in at 21 lb 10 oz (75th %) and 31" tall (95th %!) -- now that I am so, so busy, I'm gettin' skinny! Of course, I had to get three shots - yuck!

A Christmas card from Grammy and Granddaddy came, and there were pictures, which I liked a lot. I found the pictures of Grammy and Granddaddy and all my dog buddies.

After my last swim class (Daddy got to take me!), Miss Marilyn (my teacher) gave us each a little candy cane, and I got to taste it. I liked it a lot. Mmmm.

Box!

A package came from Uncle Philip and Aunt Marian and cousins Alex and Nick today -- I had ever so much fun opening it and pulling out the things inside! They are all pretty and crinkly and I can't wait to open them up. And the picture of Alex and Nick made me smile a lot, and I touched their faces.

Busy girl

The other day I was very busy. I figured out how to drink from my sippy cup, and now it's never very far away!

I am a poser. With shiny pink shoes. Yeah.

I helped George play in a box! It was so cool. He doesn't play very nice, though -- I don't think he wanted my help....

SNOW!

While we were at Peach Glen, it snowed!!! Wow! I thought it was pretty neat, but even better was my first ever sled ride! Here I am, riding on Granddaddy's Flexible Flyer (he says it is 47 years old! Wow!). I was so excited about it, that we went aaalllll the way out to the end of the driveway and back. I rode the whole way and grinned. It was really, really nifty.

The next day, Grammy took me for a little ride and let me walk in the snow! It was very cold, and I got kinda wet, but I didn't care. Afterwards, I got to dry off and warm up in front of the fire. Grammy and Grandaddy, can we have this much fun every time I come to visit?

Santa comes early

We're out visiting Peach Glen this week, and I get to have my bath in a big tub! Tonight I decided it would be fun to stick my face in the bubbles -- and look what happens! Funny funny!!

Big Holiday Parade

This afternoon Mommy and I went to see Ambler's big holiday parade. It was pretty chilly out, so here I am, all bundled up!

There were fire trucks with lights and sirens, and lots and lots of kids, and bands! Here I am watching one go by. There was a lot to check out, and I had to hang onto Mommy for the whole time.

Someone gave me a little candy cane in crinkly plastic, and I hung onto it all the way home, till I got my coat and hat off so I could check it out. (What do you mean, "hat head?")
