More slipper fun! I really like these, but Daddy has to help me walk with them on.

I love my booties! I don't know how to put them on my feet, so instead I figured out I could wear them on my hands. Makes doing stuff kinda hard, but funny. (Mom says: I swear I had absolutely no input into this! She just spied the booties and stuck her hands in them!)

15 month checkup

Yesterday we went to the doctor to make sure I was growing right. I am, I am! -- although I'm getting taller and skinnier. All that running around I do.... I am 33" tall (90th %) and 23 lb 4 oz (60th %)! Hanging out naked was the best part; I did not like being poked by the doctor or getting stabbed in the arm twice by the nurse! (And I thought she was nice....)

Weather'd Wood

On Monday, Grammy and Granddaddy (and Nancy and Elizabeth!) were at Weather'd Wood, so we went up too. I got to run around a lot! I also sat on Great-Granddaddy's old Ford tractor. Best of all, I got hugs and kisses from all these lovely people.

Easter, Easter, buck buck!

Happy Easter, everyone! This means it's supposed to really be springtime now, right? Then why do I still need to wear sweaters and fleece booties???

I was so excited about eating it, that I had to run away before Mommy and Daddy could get their hands on it!

Ladies who lunch

Today we had lunch with Miz Jane at Ruby's, yum yum! She was really nice to me and shared her french fries. I like french fries a lot. I also liked Mommy's Oreo milkshake, mmmmmm!!! And I ate applesauce and sprayed it all over when I sneezed! Oops.

Dance dance!

This weekend was the Spring Ball, so we all got dressed up. I really, really liked Mommy's sparkly dress.... However, I didn't much like that whole staying-up-past-my-bedtime thing.

Little red rocking moose

Today we went to Ikea again to help Joanna buy things for her new house, and Mommy got this red rocking moose! Isn't he the neatest? I made Mommy take lots of pictures because I like to go look at them on the camera afterwards.

Today we (Nellie, too) went to check out Joanna's brand-new house! Yaaaay, house! I like it right now, because it's empty -- good for running around in. Aaaahhh! Joanna, we will come visit a lot, okay?

PAWSabilities 2008!

This weekend we went to PAWSabilities! Grammy is the big head honcho-lady, so I hardly got to see her, but I got to play with Granddaddy and Uncle Michael and Aunt Megan and Nancy. I had SOOOO much fun. There were ZILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND JILLIONS OF DOGS!!! And they all wanted to kiss me!! I loved it so much that I didn't nap. At all. Instead, I ran around for two days and petted doggies. The SSD doggies are the nicest, like my new friend Rozzie.


And I got to meet Clifford! I thought he was pretty cool, but a little scary. I did give him a hug and a kiss, though. (That's Granddaddy holding me.)


And I got kisses from my old buddy Scarlett!


I even got the badge to prove it.


I think my next favoritest thing to watch was DockDogs! They run really fast and JUMP!! and go SPLASH in the water. They made me shriek, they were so cool.

I also played ball with Uncle Michael -- I threw tennis balls at him, and he rolled them back! That was lots of fun -- thanks, Uncle Michael! Come visit me again and play. (I can sign and say "ball" now!)

And now, I am SOOOOO tired. Sleep. Sleep is good. My brain is tired!

Storytime at the library

Today was storytime at the library, and I had such a good time! I danced and colored my coloring sheet. You can't see it too good, but I colored it a lot! Coloring is hard! I'm a big girl, now, though: I take crayons out of the basket one at a time to use them, and then put them back when I'm done. No more eating or flinging crayons!
