Look what I drew today! It's a beastie! I drew it ALL BY MYSELF!

Swimming!!!

I had a very exciting afternoon: I got to go visit Uncle Jeff and see Granddaddy!!!! AND go swimming!!! Granddaddy pushed me around on pool floats, which I liked a lot. Maybe we'll go back tomorrow!! Yay! (Thanks for all the veggies, Grammy!)

Growing UP!

Guess what? I grew nearly another inch last month! Guess what else? I'm bigger, so it's almost time for SCHOOL!!! Look at me in my cool new backpack! I picked it out myself. I love it sooo much. I am also really, really excited about school!!!!

Happy birthday, Mommy!

Look, Grammy gave both of us pretty presents! Mommy got earrings, and I got a beautiful necklace. I like it a lot. And Daddy helped me sing "Happy Birthday." I did a great job!

Our North Carolina vacation

Last week we went on an adventure. We were in the mountains in North Carolina (I can say that!). We stayed in nifty cabins, with Nana Sue and Papa and Aunt Marion and cousins Alex and Nick. Alex and Nick are my heroes. We did a lot of swinging and reading--




-- and eating (my new favorite snack: apple and cheese!) --


-- and going around looking at pretty things, like the mountains,


and waterfalls (BRRRR!!),


and a big castle called Biltmore (my favorite part was the lions!)


and just hanging out and playing and being generally silly!


(that's my new snake, Gooky Guckluck. I named her myself.)

And our last night, we went to the greatest restaurant ever: bar-b-que and MUSIC! I could eat AND dance! at the same time!
