We are out visiting Grammy and Granddaddy, and I get to eat peas right out of the garden, YUM!!!! MORE, P'EASE!

Apple dress

The other day I told Daddy I wanted to wear my apple dress, so here I am! Daddy was picking out clothes for me, and I said, "apple dess, apple dess!"

Today I am 18 months, and look how much I've grown in a year! I have grown over six inches and gained seven pounds!

My favorite place at the zoo

ZOO!!

On Sunday, Daddy took me and Mommy to the Elmwood Park Zoo! I got to run around a lot and look at all kinds of nifty animals.


It was so fabulous. I saw and named: fox, bird, sheep, goats, ducks, cats, turtles, snakes. I also got to see porcupines and monkeys and a peacock and an alligator! Here I am with the ducks! I wanted them to come over to me.


Lookit that! I called it a goat; Mommy and Daddy said it's really an antelope. Wow.


My favorite place was the petting barn! There were goats and sheep and I could pet them and they talked to me!!!!

I love my fish, oh yes I do. I love my fish, he is the bestest. I love my fish, yum yum yum!


Thanks Grrrrr8-Uncle Tim! I took him everywhere this afternoon: to the restaurant, to the mall, and now I'm snuggling him for storytime.

Water play

It's been so hot here! Yesterday Mommy let me play with a big tub of water out on the porch, which is something I really love to do. I splash and splash and sit in the tub and dump water everywhere -- aaahhhh. Nice and cool.

Yard sale bandits!

Yesterday me and Mommy and Daddy went to some yard sales, and we found some super stuff! I got an awesome little tent -- I call it a "house" -- with a tunnel, and one of those fabulous push popper things. I run up and down the living room with my popper, when the tent isn't in the way. When the tent's up, I play in it with George and even drive my popper in it! Soooo much fun!

Helping baby

Today I helped Mommy: I Swiffered! I like to help.

Digging in the garden

Today Mommy and I bought plants, and I helped! I helped put them in the car, and then carry them from the car to the garden, and then I helped dig a hole to plant a tomato! I like digging in dirt with my special new orange shovel.

Fun in the sun

On Sundays in the summer, our friends Jill and Dan and Jessica (she's my special pal!) have pool parties at their house. I played with Jessica and splashed naked in the pool and ran round and round and round in the house and played in a nifty little tent. I want one!

Potty time!

Last night I went pee pee in my potty for the first time ever!! Every night before bath, I like to sit on my potty, and this time I actually made pee pee! I'm not really sure how it happened, but I was pretty pleased with myself.
