Sledding!

I am a very busy girl here at Peach Glen, and yesterday afternoon Granddaddy took me sledding! It was so much fun. I giggled and shrieked a lot, especially when the doggies chased me. We're going to go sledding again this afternoon!

Birthday at Peach Glen!

I had more birthday at Peach Glen! I was so happy to see Grammy and Granddaddy and Grandpa Steve.



Grammy made me a chocolate cake, yum yum yum. With chocolate frosting and candy cane sprinkles and Christmas sprinkles. I blew out the candles!


And then I opened presents. Grammy and Granddaddy just came back from visiting Charu and Ajit in India, so they brought me lots of wonderful sparkly things! I will do a fashion show later today.


It was very very exciting. I am so happy to be at Peach Glen!

LOTS of snow!!!

It snowed and snowed and snowed yesterday, and today I went out and tromped around in it. It came up to my knees!

Birthday presents!

I opened my birthday presents yesterday, yippee!

I got a nifty humungous map puzzle from Uncle Michael and Aunt Megan -- neat!


And lookit my nifty new hat and scarf! Thanks, Nana Sue and Papa!


I think my favorite present was my new easel, with a blackboard,


and drawing paper -- I love to draw beasties!


And best of all, PAINT!!!!


I was a very busy girl yesterday with all my new toys, which was a good thing, because it snowed ALL DAY. Yay, snow!!!

Christmas party at school!

Today was our special Christmas program at school. Both Mommy and Daddy came to hear us sing songs, like "Ten little reindeer." I was a reindeer too, with antlers and a red nose and tail! It was great.


And here's my bestest buddy Sabina. We like to hug each other a lot. She's nice and plays with me at school.

Mail!

I've been writing letters to Santa all week, and he's been writing back to me! But yesterday I wrote a special letter about everything, and Mommy took me to the post office and I put it in the special mailbox!

Annie was taking a nap in her crate, so I had to crawl in with her to give her a snuggle!

SNOW!!

Yesterday Tom and J and Felicity came to visit, and we were supposed to go see our holiday parade, but it got rained out! But then it SNOWED!!! It was so pretty. And I had fun playing with Felicity. Isn't she cute?

My Advent calendar

Yesterday was December 1, so I got to do my new Advent calendar. I found the number 1 and opened up the little door, and guess what was inside? Chocolate!!! Wow! I love my Advent calendar.

Thanksgiving with Nana Sue and Papa

I didn't just eat turkey when we visited Nana Sue and Papa (although I was really, really excited about it). I read a lot with them, of course. Especially since they have lots of wonderful new books!


We also went to Krispy Kreme! I got to see them making donuts!


And then I got to EAT one! I picked it out all by myself. And then I gobbled it all up.


Also, I played the piano a lot. Me and my buddy Santa. I love Santa.


I had soooo much fun, Nana Sue and Papa! Thanks for a great visit!

Thanksgiving is...

...turkey. Yup. Yeeeeaahh.

I had SO much fun at school today! We had special Thanksgiving treats, and we got to bring home all our wonderful turkey crafts. Lookit everything I made!!! I really love my turkey placemat -- I made his tail with my hand and paint!

How do you spell...?

Last night I was spelling words with Mommy and Daddy's letter game*, and I spelled NO! I said, "Look, I spelled NO." And then I asked, "How do you spell NO I DON'T WANT TO?" I don't know why Mommy and Daddy laughed so hard!

*Bananagrams. Awesome game. You must play it.

Yay, Grammy!

Mommy had some teeth taken out yesterday, so today Grammy came to play with me! She took me to school and picked me up, and after nap we went for a loooong walk. Silly Grammy, what was she thinking, following ME?

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun! I love everything about it: the pumpkins (see, I drew a monster face on mine)

Yup, I love Halloween. When can I go trick-or-treating again? Grammy, come soon so I can wear my costume for you! And I still have plenty of candy left to share.

DOG!!!

We finally found just the right dog for us!! Her name is Annie. I like to call her Annie-banannie. She's a big sweetie-head Boxer, and she gives me kisses.

Frog Girl!

Yesterday we had a Halloween party at school, and I got to wear my costume. I'm a FROG! Ribbit, ribbit! Here I am, aren't I a very cute frog?


When I ran to school, I was a flying frog!


At school, everyone wore their costumes, and we sang special songs, like "Twirling leaves" (I'm a good leaf twirler)...


...and "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider." See my nifty spider?


And we had lots of treats (Mommy and I made molasses cookies and pumpkin cookies, yummy) and it was sooo much fun. I am so excited about Halloween that I didn't nap!

This afternoon Mommy and I played pirates! I wore my special pirate hat and drove around on my pirate ship (we went to the zoo -- Mommy came too, but she had to wear a special pirate hat too) and hid a treasure chest and drew pirate maps.

Here I am on my pirate ship! See, there's my hat with the map rolled up in the brim, and I'm driving and fishing at the same time (the pink thing is my fishing rod). Actually, I'm not Captain Joy, because I decided that Horse would ride in my fuzzy slipper and be Captain. So I'm First Mate Joy.

Go, Phillies!

Last week at school, my friend Ava had a red P on her cheek, and we all wanted one too. So here I am -- it's for the baseball team, the Phillies! I think. I get confused, because there's football and the Eagles too. Anyway, yay, Phillies!

It's pajama time!

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy were still sick, so we stayed home all day! I got to stay in my PJs for most of the day, hooray! Do you like the rest of my glammin' getup?

I love the Muppets

Yesterday afternoon, I didn't nap, and it was a really, really yucky day outside, so Mommy and Daddy and I had a little treat. Mommy made us all hot chocolate with marshmallows (MMMM!), and we cuddled on the couch and watched "The Muppet Movie." I watched almost the whole thing, snuggling with Mommy and Daddy! It was great.

I love school soooo much! Today we made fire trucks out of graham crackers and cookies and pretzels. I carefully carried it home and gobbled it up after lunch. It was delicious!

My blue spider

Yesterday was Oktoberfest here in town, and I wanted to get my face painted, so I asked for a blue spider. Ta-da! Isn't it nifty?

The other day we went to visit Barbara and Steve, and we went to a great playground. I found another little girl named Joy, and we played together! I found a place where I could dangle and where I could jump up and say, "Hi!" I am so strong -- I can almost do the monkey bars by myself.
