Gobble gobble!

Yay, Thanksgiving! I got to wear my shiny red shoes again and eat and hang out with Grammy and be the center of attention -- does life get any better?

Mommy made this really, really big loaf of challah. It was really, really yummy. I ate a lot of it. I also ate sausage and onion, turkey (of course!), cranberry, mashed potatoes, carrot, mushrooms, and stuffing. And LOTS of apple and pumpkin pie. Burp.

Walking!

I finally figured out another use for my wacky thingy on wheels (other than flipping it over -- maybe I'll be a mechanic): walking!

Fuzzy fuzzy

I am all ready for winter now, with my new fuzzy hat and mittens! I even help put the mittens on.

I'm a little snow bunny!

....no, no, wait, a SNOW MONSTER! Rar!

I worship the Flying Spaghetti Monster

Yesterday I ate soba noodles for lunch. They were yummy. And funny.

An Early Christmas

Yesterday we (Mommy and Grammy helped) took pictures to try out my new Christmas dresses and SHINY new red shoes. We took them in Great-Granddaddy's greenhouse -- Mommy says, probably the last pictures of babies to be taken there.

So here they are. And guess what, everybody? You get to vote! (See the nifty POLL to the right.) Which picture of me do you want to have on your fridge for the next year? The one you like best might be the one we put on the Christmas card! Vote quick, cuz Mommy says they have to get done soon!

Check out the shiny shoes! I like them a LOT.

I like flowers. Pretty pretty orchids.

A soft velvet dress from Great-grammy.

Another dress from Great-grammy -- the frog is my friend....

And here I am after the modelling session. Did I tell you already that I really like my new shoes?

Don't forget: tell Mommy which picture you like! I'll try not to let all the compliments go to my cute little head.

I can, I can!

Tonight at dinner, Mommy let me feed my very own self! I ate avocado and rice pudding with my spoon (thanks, Aunt Joanie!). I even put the spoon back in the bowl to get it refilled -- I am such a big girl. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that this week I took my very first steps.... Aunt Megan and Uncle Michael, I am gonna be all over the place at your wedding!

I love bathtime!

Who, me, silly? Nope, not at all.

Happy Halloween!

I know, it's a little late... but here I am, all dressed up for Halloween! I'm a chicken! Really. My tail's a little droopy. But Halloween was fun! We visited our neighbors -- one lady was really, really scary! There were lighted up pumpkins on the steps, and lady's face was all green and she had on a big scary hat! But then at our house, we sat outside, and all these kids came, and they all looked funny. And then the fire truck came down the street with all its light on, and it stopped right in front of our house, and the fireman came right up to me and gave me candy.... Whoa. It was really cool.
